I, MARGARET WAMBUI NJOROGE, of [Testator postal address], holder of National Identity Card or Passport No. [Testator national ID / passport no.], being of sound mind, declare this to be my last will.
1. Revocation
I revoke all former wills and codicils previously made by me.
2. My family
I am married, in a monogamous marriage, to Peter Njoroge Kamau. I have two children, namely Ann Wanjiru Njoroge, aged 15 years, and Kevin Mwangi Njoroge, aged 11 years.
3. Executors
I appoint Peter Njoroge Kamau (my husband) and Lucy Wambui Githinji (my sister) to be the executors of this my will, and they shall act jointly.
4. Guardian
I appoint Lucy Wambui Githinji (my sister) to be the guardian of my children who are minors at the time of my death. That guardianship shall end in respect of each child when that child attains the age of 18 years.
5. Gifts
I give my property as follows:
5.1 To my husband, Peter Njoroge Kamau:
(a) the apartment at Kileleshwa, Nairobi, comprised in Title No. Nairobi/Block 93/445; and
(b) the motor vehicle Toyota Fielder, registration number KDJ 456T.
5.2 To my children, Ann Wanjiru Njoroge and Kevin Mwangi Njoroge, in equal shares:
(a) the plot at Ruiru, Kiambu, comprised in Title No. Ruiru/Ruiru East Block 2/3309;

- Law of Succession Act Cap 160 — s.5 (who may make a will), s.6 (appointment of executors), s.11 (a written will is signed by the testator and attested by two or more competent witnesses, each of whom signs in the testator's presence), s.13 (a gift to an attesting witness or the witness's spouse is void unless two more independent witnesses attest), ss.17 to 19 (revocation, including by marriage), s.26 (the court may make reasonable provision for a dependant)
